PRIVACY POLICY

Private by design.

Effective 29 September 2026

VitalStreak is designed to help you track routines and personal wellbeing goals while keeping your information private. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information used by VitalStreak

VitalStreak may use the following information when you choose to provide access:

How information is used

This information is used only to provide VitalStreak’s features, including calculating daily progress, displaying history, scheduling local reminders, updating widgets and synchronising the dashboard with a paired Apple Watch.

VitalStreak does not use Apple Health data for advertising, marketing, user profiling or determining eligibility for any product or service.

Storage and transmission

VitalStreak stores routines, completion history and preferences locally on your device. Apple Health information is read directly from HealthKit after you grant permission and is processed locally to display progress.

The current version does not create an online account, operate a developer-controlled backend, upload routine or health data to a developer server, use third-party analytics, or include advertising or tracking technology.

Dashboard information may be transferred locally through Apple’s system services between your paired iPhone, Apple Watch, widgets and complications so those features can display current progress.

Apple Health permissions

Apple Health access is optional. You choose which supported data types VitalStreak may read. You can review or revoke access at any time in the Health app or your device’s Privacy & Security settings.

VitalStreak cannot read an Apple Health category unless you grant access. The app does not write health information to Apple Health.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, VitalStreak schedules notifications locally through Apple’s notification system. You can disable notifications in VitalStreak or in your device settings.

Data retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. You can delete routines inside VitalStreak. Deleting VitalStreak removes its locally stored app data, subject to Apple’s platform behaviour and any device backups you control.

Apple Health information is managed separately by Apple Health. Deleting VitalStreak does not delete information stored in Apple Health.

Support communications

If you contact support, the information you voluntarily include—such as your email address, message and attachments—will be used only to respond to your request and maintain appropriate support records. Do not include sensitive health information in a support message.

Children’s privacy

VitalStreak does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include accounts, social features, advertising or developer-operated data collection.

Security

VitalStreak relies on Apple’s platform security, app sandboxing, HealthKit permissions and encrypted device protections. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so you should keep your device and Apple Account protected.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when VitalStreak’s features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
